Ron Casner
Is a Big Bass Specialist who cut his teeth on
the Western waterways, fishing deep clear reservoirs, predominately in Arizona and
California. He currently holds the Arizona "Catch and Release” record for
Largemouth Bass at 17.48 lbs. Big Swim baits
are his confidence and "go to" baits. He has won numerous tournaments
through the years in Arizona and added a couple boats and a new Dodge Pickup to
his tournament winnings! Ron has represented Arizona 5 times in the Big Bass
World Championships sponsored by Bassin Magazine, with his best finish of 5th place at
Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Ron has transitioned himself from a veteran
tournament angler to a World Class Big Bass Specialist!! He currently has
Certified 400 bass over 10 pounds, 3 of those topping the 16-pound mark, and 1
topping 17 pounds! (See Bassmaster April 2001 Issue). He has currently relocated
his Guide Business of 14 years to Lake Fork, Texas and is Guiding there full time. Since his time in Texas, he has caught a 12.47-pound bass and
several others topping the 10-pound barrier. His dream is to Catch and Release
the World Record Bass and he just might get it here on Lake Fork!
Wave Worms would like to welcome Ron Casner to their Prostaff and wish him good luck in his pursuit
of that elusive World Record Bass.
